Dar Al Iftaa surveys the crescent of the month of Dhul Qi’dah tomorrow
Dar Al-Iftaa is conducting a survey of the crescent of the month of Dhul-Qi’dah, through its Sharia committees spread across the various governorates of the Republic, which are expected to inform them of whether the sighting of the crescent of the Hijri month has been proven or not.
It is scheduled that the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa will announce the result of seeing the crescent of the month of Dhul Qi’dah, after sunset tomorrow, Friday, corresponding to Shawwal 29, through publications through the official pages and accounts of the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa on various social networking sites.
And by making the sighting of the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Qi`dah, it is either that the sighting of the crescent is completed; Accordingly; Next Saturday, corresponding to May 20, 2023, will be the first day of the month of Dhul Qi’dah, and thus we are separated from the blessed Eid Al-Adha 2023, by only 40 days.
Or, the crescent of the month of Dhul-Qi’dah will not be sighted, and thus the beginning of the month will be on Sunday, corresponding to May 21, 2023, and we will be separated from the blessed Eid Al-Adha 2023, 41 days.
National Institute for Astronomical Research
Earlier, the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research announced the date of Eid al-Adha 2023 astronomically, according to what was stated in the astronomical guide for the Hijri year 1444 AH, provided that Eid al-Adha 2023 falls on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
Accordingly, according to what was announced by the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, the number of days for the Eid al-Adha holiday will be 5 days, starting from the Eid pause that corresponds to June 27, 2023, and until the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, corresponding to July 1, 2023.
