Earlier, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan met with the contact group on Sudan and urges the parties to dialogue, according to what was reported by the “Cairo News” channel, in urgent news.
The Saudi foreign minister said, “We stress the importance of consolidating the ‘Jeddah Declaration’ agreement with the various parties in Sudan.”
60 members of the Rapid Support militia were arrested
The Sudanese army also announced the arrest of 60 members of the Rapid Support militia while fleeing the clashes in northern Omdurman.
Earlier, Hammam Mujahid, the dispatcher of the “Cairo News” channel to the Sharq base, revealed that the Egyptian authorities had sent medical teams equipped to serve the returnees from Sudan.
