Sherif Abdel Fadil, the former Al-Ahly star, spoke about the upcoming confrontation against Esperance de Tunis, in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, scheduled for Cairo International Stadium.
Sherif Abdel-Fadil said, during televised statements, with the journalist Mohamed Shabana, on the “Box to Box” program, broadcast on “ETC” channel, that facing Esperance will be difficult, noting that the Tunisian team’s loss in the first-leg match provoked the Tunisian media, Pointing out that the Esperance players have a great motivation to compensate or appear in a distinctive way.
He continued: Al-Ahly players must be in a state of intense focus in order to achieve a positive result to confirm qualification for the final match in the Champions League.
When asked about professional offers for Al-Ahly players during the current period, he said: The offers that come to Al-Ahly players are very normal after their recent brilliance with the club in the Champions League.
And he continued: I hope that these offers do not affect Al-Ahly players during the current period, and that there will be a focus on ending the season by crowning the championships.
And he continued: Marawan Attia gave a very impressive return with Al-Ahly, and his brilliance is remarkable with his team during the last period.
And he concluded: I do not mind the departure of Aliou Diang and Hamdi Fathy, in light of the brilliance of Marawan Attia and the return of Akram Tawfiq, with the signing of players at the same level, starting next season.
