
Today, the recitation of the recited recitation of the Holy Qur’an will start after Friday prayers, May 19, 2023, from the Imam Al-Hussein Mosque, may God be pleased with him, in Cairo, where the first session will be held under the chairmanship of the reciter Sheikh Mahmoud Muhammad Al-Khasht, and the membership of each of: the reciter Sheikh Taha Al-Nu’mani, and the reciter Sheikh Yasser Al-Sharqawi, the reciter Sheikh Ahmed Tamim Al-Maraghi, the reciter Sheikh Al-Azab Salem, the reciter Sheikh Al-Sayed Abdul-Karim Al-Ghitani, the reciter Sheikh Fathi Khalif, the reciter Sheikh Muhammad Al-Saidi, and the technical supervision of Professor Abdel-Aziz Omran.
For the first time in history, and in less than a day and a half, the Holy Qur’an was recited in successive sessions in Al-Hussein
The second session will be held after Maghrib prayer on Friday under the chairmanship of the reciter Sheikh Muhammad Mahrous Tolba and the membership of each of: the reciter Sheikh Izzat Rashed, the reciter Sheikh Muhammad Fathallah Baybars, the reciter Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Fashni, the reciter Sheikh Ahmad Al-Ghitani, the reciter Sheikh Al-Sayed Al-Hindawi, and the reciter Sheikh Abd al-Muttalib al-Budi, and the reciter Sheikh Sharif Abd al-Mun’im
The third session will be held after the Fajr prayer on Saturday, May 20, 2023 AD, headed by the reader Sheikh Ahmed Abu Fayoud, the reader Sheikh Mahmoud Ali Hassan, the reader Sheikh Ahmed Tamim Al-Maraghi, the reader Sheikh Salah Al-Jamal, the reader Sheikh Al-Saeed Faisal, the reader Sheikh Muhammad Metwally, and the reader Sheikh Muhammad Al-Safi, and the reciter Sheikh Abdul Latif Wahdan
The sessions will continue on Saturday until the complete completion of the Holy Qur’an, and after the Isha prayer, there will be a supplication for the completion of the Holy Qur’an with the voices of seven senior reciters, God willing.
