The Football Association addressed the Ghana and Guinea national teams to face the Egyptian Olympic team in a friendly manner next June, during the last camp that will be held in Alexandria on the sidelines of preparation for the African Nations Under-23 Championship, which will start in Morocco on June 24.

The seventh day learned that the coaching staff of the Olympic team, led by Mikali, requested to play two friendly matches with different teams from June 12 to 20, and if the agreement on two matches fails, it will suffice with one African team, provided that it faces it twice during its next camp.

The coaching staff of the Olympic team, led by Brazilian Rogerio Micale, chose Alexandria to set up the team’s last camp before the African Nations, which will start on June 12th and last for about a week, before traveling to Morocco to participate in the tournament scheduled for June 24th of the same month.

Mohamed Barakat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association and supervisor of the national team, reviewed with the Brazilian technical director Mikali, during the meeting of the technical staff that was held a few days ago, the arrangements for the next stage in preparation for participation in the U-23 African Cup of Nations that qualifies for the “Paris 2024” Olympics.

The technical staff decided to hold the next camp on June 12, during the international break, provided that travel to Morocco takes place days after the start of the camp.
