His Highness stressed in a statement after the conclusion of his inspection tour that included the governorates of the region and the center of Sawir, the importance of working according to sound plans that meet all planning standards, to achieve full and permanent coordination, efficiency and effectiveness in the exercise of state agencies to their tasks and competencies to the fullest, according to approved performance indicators, to raise the level of performance. Services provided to citizens, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 methodology.
His Highness, the Governor of Al-Jouf Region, indicated that his inspection tours come in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God preserve them -, which emphasize meeting with citizens, touching their needs and listening. For their proposals, in order to confirm the extent of cohesion between the leadership and the citizens, to see the progress of work, and to advance the wheel of development in all cities, governorates and centers in the region.
Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz also noted the security efforts and the great successes that have been achieved in combating drugs, limiting their devastating effects and cracking down on those who promote them, and aims to spread them among the people of this country who are the pillar of development and the implementers of the nation’s ambitious vision. His Highness also noted the role of anti-drug men. Drugs and all employees of the security sector in the Kingdom in general and the region in particular follow up with His Highness the Minister of Interior in fighting this scourge, and stand as a strong barrier in the face of plans to target the sons and daughters of the country with vigilance and high professionalism.
This came during the 34th meeting of the “Nights of Al-Jawf” sessions, which was titled “Drugs: Causes of abuse and ways of prevention”, in the presence of directors of the concerned authorities, a large number of specialists and interested people, and a group of young men and women.
And His Highness stressed – during the meeting – that what contributes to the eradication of this dangerous scourge, educating the community about its harm and urging everyone to report its promoters and abusers, continuous family follow-up and initiative in directing children not to accompany bad friends and to be cooperative in limiting its spread by advice and guidance and informing the concerned authorities. .
The meeting dealt with the Kingdom’s efforts in combating drugs, and the role of Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Chair for Sustainable Development by reviewing the results of some studies, reviewing many axes, and dealing with several interventions, including the Director of Drug Control in the region, the Director General of Education in the region, and professors from Al-Jouf University, who dealt with damages. Drugs, and the role of religious discourse in reducing drug abuse.
Then, His Highness the Emir of Al-Jawf discussed the interventions of the audience, who expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Highness for the hospitality and reception, and his continuous guidance.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed all the members, then discussed the agenda related to the need of the governorate and its affiliated centers for services and development projects. His Highness also listened to a number of views, solutions, and aspirations for the governorate.
The meeting also reviewed a number of topics on the agenda, and made the necessary recommendations regarding them.

Prince Faisal bin Nawwaf also chaired a meeting of the directors of service agencies in the governorate, in the presence of the general directors of the region, at his office in Dumat al-Jandal, during his inspection tour of the governorate.
During the meeting, they discussed relevant issues in various municipal, environmental, water, educational, electricity and other fields, and prepared ways to provide everything that serves the citizens and residents in the region.
The meeting discussed a number of development projects and ways to enhance them and achieve the aspirations of the people, in addition to discussing previous recommendations and a number of topics on the agenda, while the projects being implemented and proposed to be worked on by government departments were reviewed.
His Highness stressed the role of service agencies in serving the people, pointing to the need for cooperation and coordination between government agencies and work to speed up the implementation of approved projects according to the timetable and standards approved for them.
