The people of Baqour, Assiut, mourn the bodies of two young men who were victims of a car crash in a canal

Hundreds of people from the village of Baqour, which is affiliated with the Abu Tij Center in Assiut and the neighboring villages, after the end of Friday prayers, mourned the bodies of two young men with whom an angel car fell in the Nagaa Hamada canal in front of the village of Al-Flio, amid the cries and wailing of the deceased’s families, among the 5 people who were traveling in the car, 3 of whom survived.

Investigations revealed that the 5 young men who were traveling in the car were on their way to participate in the wedding of one of their friends in the village of Baqour.

Major General Ahmed Gamal El-Din, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from Major General Tawfiq Gad, Director of Criminal Investigations, of a report that a private car with 5 people inside had overturned, in the canal next to the Al-Falio slides in Abu Tig Center.

Security forces, ambulances, and river rescue forces moved to the Al-Balagh site, along with dozens of residents in the area. Examination and inspection showed that a car with 5 people inside had overturned in the canal next to the Al-Flio slide in the Abu Tig Center in Assiut Governorate. 3 people were rescued and the bodies of the deceased were recovered, namely, “Peter Z.” And his friend, Ahmed H. From the village of Baqour, the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, and a report was issued regarding the incident.
