The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced its support for 225 players in the third phase of the process of distributing compensation to its fund for football players, after the joint decision with the International Federation of Professional Football Players, according to the program protocol.
And “FIFA” had launched this fund in the wake of the agreement it reached with the International Federation of Professional Football Players in 2020, which provides for providing financial support to players who have not received their wages and no longer have any opportunity to receive the wages agreed upon with their clubs, and the total budget of the fund is 16 million US dollars, which are divided into four phases for submission of applications, and after the successful completion of the second phase, FIFA is currently completing the payment of the last payments related to the third phase.
And “FIFA” stated on its official website today, Friday: “The 225 approved applications fall within the third stage scheduled for the period from January to December 2021, for which a total of 4 million US dollars has been allocated.”
FIFA had allocated a total of $ 16 million to the program when it was launched, as the budget was distributed to four sessions, the first from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2020 in the amount of $ 5 million, and the second from July 1. ) 2020 to the end of the same year in the amount of $3 million, the third of January to the end of 2021 in the amount of $4 million, and the fourth of January (January) 2022 until the end of the same year in the amount of $4 million.
It is good that they once again benefit from the FIFA Footballers’ Fund, which provides them with a safety net to ensure that they receive a part of their money. Their dues, and it is also gratifying that the amounts paid from the Fund have increased significantly compared to previous years, and here we must praise the International Federation for all that it has provided for the sake of this project.
