El-Sadat explained in the explanatory memorandum to the request submitted by him, “The most important reasons for the insane rise in the prices of building materials is the lack of competition in the market, the imposition of dumping fees on imported iron, and the failure to allow importers to import billets, in addition to the absence of control and the state on the markets, which caused a situation Chaos in the iron market.
