And through his account on “Instagram”, Prince Hussein published a picture of his sister, “Salma”, which was taken for her via a “video call”, congratulating her on obtaining a bachelor’s degree in archeology from the University of Southern California in the United States.
Prince Hussein commented on the photo, saying: “Congratulations, Salma.”

Princess Salma appeared in the photo, wearing a graduation dress on which the Jordanian flag was placed, while happiness was evident on her face after a arduous study trip at one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

King Abdullah leaves Jordan to attend Princess Salma’s graduation ceremony

King Abdullah II left Jordan two days ago, on a short private visit to attend the graduation ceremony of His Highness, his daughter Salma bint Abdullah II.

For his part, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II took the constitutional oath as deputy to his father, the king, in the presence of the cabinet.

It is noteworthy that Princess Salma bint Abdullah II was born on September 26, 2000, and she is the second daughter and third child of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

Course at Sandhurst Academy

Her position as a princess did not prevent her from achieving successes in the military field, as she graduated from a short training course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in November 2018, and her father, Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of Jordan, made her an aviation wing. On January 8, 2020, at Al Husseiniya Palace in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in a ceremony attended by her mother, Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and her older brother, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan.

Princess Salma is the first Jordanian woman to complete basic training as a fixed-wing pilot

Princess Salma bint Abdullah is not the first Jordanian princess to graduate from the Royal Military Academy in the United Kingdom, as her aunt, Princess Aisha bint Al Hussein, is the first Arab woman to attend Sandhurst Academy and graduated in 1987, who later served in the Jordanian Special Forces.

Her other aunt, Princess Iman bint Al Hussein, also graduated from the same academy in 2003.

However, Princess Salma bint Abdullah II is considered the first Jordanian woman to pass the basic training stage as a pilot on fixed-wing aircraft.
