The six medal winners are:
• Ali Al-Ramadan, a third year secondary student from the Eastern Education Department, won a silver medal after a preparation trip during which he received 3,720 hours of training.
• Student Hadi Al-Aythan, from the third year of secondary school from the Eastern Education Department, won a bronze medal after intensive preparation, during which he received 3,720 hours of training.
• Student Mahdi Al-Beik, from the third year of secondary school from the Eastern Education Department, won a bronze medal after intensive preparation, during which he received 3,720 hours of training.
• Moath Al-Qahtani, the first secondary grade student from the Eastern Education Department, achieved a bronze medal, after intensive preparation during which he received 3000 hours of training.

The mathematics competition for the Balkan countries is considered one of the oldest competitions in the world, as it gains its importance from the strength of the participating countries and their pioneering role in establishing the International Mathematics Olympiad in the year 1957.
