Yesterday, Friday, the distinguished Kuwaiti artist, Abdul Karim Abdul Qadir, passed away at the age of 80, after a struggle with illness.

And Kuwaiti media reported that the late artist had suffered from chronic diseases, and his condition had worsened in recent days, which forced him to enter the hospital, where he passed away.

A number of Arab stars were keen to mourn the death of the Kuwaiti artist Abdel Karim Abdel Qader, including the Emirati artist Ahlam, who wrote through her latest Instagram post, “May God have mercy on the great professor, the able artist Abdel Karim Abdel Qader, and make him dwell in his spacious gardens, and inspire his family, children, and relatives patience and solace.”

And she continued, “My sincere condolences and sympathy to his honorable family and to Kuwait. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.. The sound of the beautiful time that we love has passed away, may God have mercy on you, Bukhaled.”

And the obituary of the Jordanian artist, Diana Karazon, stated, “The wounded voice, we belong to God and to Him we shall return. The mighty artist Abdel Karim Ib al-Qader has moved to the mercy of God Almighty. She left in body and remained a voice and a history that does not die. May God have mercy on you, Abu Khaled. The family of the late able artist and to the Kuwaiti and Arab artistic community.

While the Kuwaiti media, Mai Al-Aidan, wrote about the departure of the Kuwaiti star, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return.. The great artist Abdel Karim Abdel Qader moved to God’s mercy after a struggle with illness. And the righteous.. do not skimp on him in supplication.. supplication is the sustenance of the dead.”

It is worth noting that the artist Abdel Karim Abdel Qader is considered one of the most important artists in Kuwait and the Arab Gulf region in the seventies, eighties and nineties of the last century, and his artistic career spanned nearly 60 years, leaving behind an artistic legacy rich in lyrical works.
