Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, said that the government supports mass transportation as it supports a loaf of bread, explaining that the state is obligated to provide mass transportation with a ticket at a balanced price.

He added, during his meeting with the journalist Ahmed Moussa, through the “On My Responsibility” program, that the state is obligated to provide safe mass transportation for citizens, indicating that the state continues to fulfill its responsibility by supporting mass transportation.

The Minister of Transport indicated that the state will continue to support students, people with special needs, and employees, and provide safe transportation at a reasonable value.

He also accompanied the Minister of Media Transport, Ahmed Moussa, on a tour of the Adly Mansour station inside the Super Jet station, stressing that all he cares about is knowing the citizen’s pulse, and we must know what is bothering citizens in order to avoid it in the future.

Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir confirmed that the third line of the metro connects the first line at Misr station and the second line at Ataba, Cairo University and El-Munib, adding that the third line of the metro will be linked with the monorail in the future.

And he continued that going to Suez became very easy after the establishment of the Adly Mansour interchange station, pointing out that the super jet transports passengers from inside the Adly Mansour station to all parts of the Republic.

He also confirmed that the superjet arrives at Luxor and another bus transports passengers to Aswan, directing his speech to the superjet official regarding the increase in the ticket price, saying: “We do not laugh at the citizens, and the increase occurred because of the diesel and the increase in the efficiency of the service.”
