In a shocking incident in Jordan, a terrible collision between a truck and 7 vehicles on the Industrial Bridge in Aqaba resulted in deaths and injuries.

The Civil Defense published a statement that read as follows:
The specialized teams operating in the Civil Defense and Aqaba Police Directorates dealt with a collision accident that occurred between a truck and a number of vehicles inside the Ninth District Tunnel in Aqaba Governorate, on Sunday evening.
As it resulted in the death of one person and the injury of (13) others with fractures, wounds and various bruises in the body. In turn, the specialized ambulance teams worked to provide the necessary first aid to them and transfer them to Prince Hashem Military Hospital. The injuries are under treatment, and a traffic investigation was opened into the accident.
