Meat prices witnessed a noticeable decline in the local markets, today, Sunday, May 14, 2023, according to the local and global prices portal of the Information and Decision Support Center at the Council of Ministers.

Meat prices today in Egypt
The price of lamb
The average price of lamb meat today was about 296 pounds per kilo, as its price ranged between 240 and 360 pounds per kilo, according to the region, with a decrease of 11 pounds compared to yesterday, Saturday.
The price of veal
The average price of veal was 293 pounds per kilo, with its price in public markets and shops ranging between 240 and 370 pounds per kilo, a decrease of 12 pounds compared to yesterday.
Canadian beef price
The average price of Kandouz meat reached 296 pounds per kilo, as its price in local markets ranged between 240 and 350 pounds per kilo, depending on the region, recording a decrease of 6 pounds compared to the previous day.
Veal with bone
The average price of veal meat with bones was 250 pounds per kilo, ranging between 150 and 350 pounds per kilo in markets, depending on the region, achieving a decrease of 10 pounds compared to yesterday, Saturday.
Mutton with bone
The average price of lamb with bones recorded a price of 248 pounds per kilo, as its price ranged between 160 and 340 pounds per kilo in the local markets, dropping by about 6 pounds compared to yesterday’s trading.
