Vandenbroek confirmed, in his statements during the press conference after the first-leg match against Sun Downs, that Sambo had suffered an ankle and leg injury as well, indicating his absence from the return match, after he left the stadium limping.
The Moroccan newspaper, Al-Botula, revealed that the Senegalese striker will undergo accurate medical examinations, in the coming hours, to fully determine the extent of the injury and the duration of his absence.
