Laba regains the top scorer title in 25 minutes

The Togolese striker Laba Kodjo needed only 25 minutes to regain the top scorer and win the title for the second time in a row after winning it the previous season. Laba’s double against Al-Bataeh reinforced his impressive numbers with Al-Ain in all tournaments since his contract in June 2019, as he reached the 15th double, which he scored against 11 teams.

During 120 matches with Al Ain in all tournaments, Laba scored 103 goals, including 86 goals in the league, which he scored in 89 matches, to become the third best scorer in the history of Al Ain in the league, equal to Majid Al Owais, the former top scorer for the team, and he also became the second player in the club’s history to achieve the title of top scorer in the league twice in a row.
