And the Assistant Minister of the Interior, Director of Alexandria Security, Major General Khaled Al-Barawi, received a notification from the Civil Protection and Rescue Police departments, stating that a report had been received from the residents and the Awal Al-Montazah neighborhood operations room, about a fire in a residential apartment on the fifth and last floor of a property close to the neighborhood office in the east of the governorate. .

And when the police, accompanied by civil protection forces and ambulances, moved to the Al-Balagh site, the fire was controlled by extinguishing it and cooling its effects, because it did not reach the neighboring area.

According to a security source, the preliminary examination suggested that the causes of its outbreak were an electrical short circuit, which led to its ignition.
