Nadia H., 29, accused of attempting to kill Mrs. “Azza A.,” with the aim of stealing her daughter’s network, “Iman M.”, pleaded guilty.

In her confessions before the investigation authorities in New Cairo, the accused said that she had been working for the victim for 3 years, and frequented her daily to help her with household chores, and when she learned of the engagement of the victim’s daughter and that her fiancé had bought a network for her for 70 thousand pounds, and her father also bought some jewelry to celebrate. With her engagement, she thought of stealing gold jewelry to sell because she was going through great financial hardship.

When she was able to steal the jewelry, the victim saw her hiding them inside her clothes and decided to call the police, so the accused hit her with a sharp object until she bled and she lost consciousness.

The Public Prosecution ordered that the accused be referred to the Criminal Court, accusing her of attempting to kill her employer in New Cairo and stealing gold jewelry estimated at 100,000 pounds.

The beginning of the incident was when a report was received from the assembly police station stating that a maid had attempted to kill a woman and steal gold jewelry worth 100,000 pounds. By conducting security investigations related to the incident, the accused was located and seized. By asking him, she acknowledged that the incident was committed and instructed about the location of the jewelry.
