The Turkish general election held on May 14 went into the second round.

In this context, the presidential candidate of the Ata Sinan Ogan coalition announced that he will announce the party he will support in the second round of elections next Friday, May 19.

For his part, journalist Kurshad Oğuz, who posted a post about this on his account on social media, said, “I spoke to Sinan Ogan. His voice is hoarse and a bit sick. He said:” We will announce our decision on May 19.”

He added, “It is also an important date,” noting that the exchange of ideas within the alliance is still going on.

It is noteworthy that with the announcement of the final result of the first round of the presidential elections and the incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s inability to decide it the first time, Turkey is heading to a second round after two weeks, and with it all eyes are on the third candidate, Sinan Ogan, who won more than 5% of the vote.

Observers assert that the votes of Ogan’s supporters will be decisive in the second round of the elections if they are directed to one of Erdogan’s candidates or his rival, Kilicdaroglu.
