6 people were injured in a collision between two cars on the agricultural highway, Egypt – Aswan, in the center of Minya, due to speed.
The security services in Minya Governorate had received a notification from the Rescue Operations Room, stating that a collision had occurred between a car belonging to Malaki and Tamannaya, on the agricultural highway, Egypt-Aswan, near the Bani Ahmed ambush of the Minya Center.
As a result of the accident, Samir Muhammad Rasmi, 15 years old, his sister Israa, 14 years old, Mahrous Gerges Wadih, 43 years old, Kamal Ali Abdel Wadoud, 53 years old, Yassin Muhammad Hussein, 23 years old, and Kamal Kamel Farid, 58 years old, were all injured. Except for the latter, he resides in the village of Abu Ghareer in the Abu Qurqas district.
With the transfer of security services and ambulance branch vehicles, examination and preliminary investigations, it was found that the accident occurred due to speeding, which resulted in the injury of 6 people from one village.
All the injured were transferred to Minya General Hospital to receive treatment, as the injuries varied between abrasions, bruises, and suspected concussions and fractures. A report of the accident was issued, and the two cars were kept at the disposal of the Public Prosecution, which initiated the investigation.
