Cairo hosted the meetings of the Committee of Experts and the Executive Council at the ministerial level for the regular session No. (115) of the Arab Administrative Development Organization. Arab for Administrative Development in Cairo.

During the meetings, Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, who was elected in the previous session as Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council of the organization, announced Egypt’s support for the activities of the organization, stressing the importance of administrative reform within the framework of Arab countries’ strategies to implement sustainable development plans and raise the level of services provided to citizens, referring in this regard to the establishment of the agency The Central Committee for Organization and Administration is implementing a series of various training programs and exchanging experiences with a number of brotherly Arab countries.

He expressed the keenness of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration to continue strengthening the role of the organization as well as cooperation with the brotherly Arab countries. Presentation of the final accounts, cash position, financial statements of the organization, auditor’s report, and internal auditor’s report for the year 2022.

The meeting of the Executive Council at the ministerial level was preceded by the meeting of the Committee of Experts to prepare for the meeting of the Executive Council. Where the experts discussed the agenda of the Executive Council and the report of the Financial and Administrative Control Authority on the work of the organization for the year 2022, and the response of the general management of the organization to the report.

It is worth noting that the Executive Council of the organization consists of seven members elected by the General Assembly from among its members for a period of two years. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presides over the Council in its current session. Twice every year, unless it is called to meet in an extraordinary session.

While the General Assembly is the highest authority in the organization, and it consists of representatives of Arab member states (civil service ministers and the like), and it meets once every two years, unless there is a need for an extraordinary meeting to discuss a specific issue that calls for an invitation to this meeting.
