The Holy Qur’an presents the procession of faith led by that group of messengers from Noah to Abraham to the Seal of the Prophets, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them all. The context presents this procession extended and connected, especially since Abraham and his sons among the prophets, and does not take into account the historical sequence in this presentation, as noted in other places ; Because what is meant here is the whole procession, not its historical sequence.
Among the prophets and messengers mentioned in this procession: David and Solomon, peace be upon them both.
- The Almighty said: {And We gave him Isaac and Jacob, both of whom We guided, and Noah We guided before, and from his offspring David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.} [الأنعام: 84].
- And the Almighty said: {Indeed, We have revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron and Solomon, and We gave David the Psalms} [النساء: 163].
This Qur’anic context speaks of a single procession that appears through continuous human history, a single message with a single guidance of warning and evangelism, and a single procession that includes this chosen elite of human beings: Noah, Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, the Tribes, Jesus, Job, Yunus, Aaron, Solomon, and David. , Moses, and others whom God narrated to His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the Holy Qur’an, and those who did not relate to him, a procession of various peoples, races, various lands and lands, in various times, not separated by lineage, gender, land, homeland, time, or country. Environment, all of them come from that noble source, and all of them carry that guiding light, and all of them lead the warning and preaching, and all of them try to take the reins of the convoy to that light, whether of them who came to a clan, and who came to a people, and who came to a city, and who came to Qatar.
The Holy Qur’an proves the prophecy of David and Solomon, peace be upon them both, and God Almighty singled out our master David, peace be upon him, in the verses of Surat Al-Nisa with a special mention: {And We gave David the Psalms} for his stature, peace be upon him, and proving his prophethood by bringing him the wisdom explained by prophecy.
Then whoever comes to all people, Muhammad is the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the seal of all the prophets, he received revelation from God, and he did not bring anything from Him. The obedient ones of bliss and contentment, and they warn them of what God has prepared for the disobedient disbelievers of hell and wrath, all of this {so that people will not have an argument against God after the messengers}, and God has the ultimate argument in the souls and the horizons, and God has given mankind the mind with which they reflect on the evidence of faith in the souls and horizons, However, the Almighty, as a mercy from Him to His servants, and in appreciation of the predominance of desires over that great tool that He gave them – the tool of the mind – His mercy and wisdom required that He send messengers to them with glad tidings and warners, reminding them, seeing them, and trying to save their nature and liberate their minds from the rubble of desires that obscure them or veil them from evidence. Guidance and the necessities of faith in souls and horizons {And God is Mighty, Wise}, Mighty: Able to seize the servants for what they have earned. Wise: manages everything with wisdom, and puts every matter in perspective. (In the Shadows of the Qur’an, 5/ 805-806).
And we stand before the greatness of justice that arranges for people an argument against God if He did not send messengers to them with glad tidings and warnings.
With instinct filled with longings and telephones to contact its Creator and submit to Him, and the harmony, response and attraction between it and the evidence of the Creator’s existence in the universe and the soul, and with the grain of the mind that has the power to count the evidence and derive results, but God Almighty knows of the factors of weakness that occur to all these powers, so He nullifies them. , or spoil it, or obliterate it, or enter into its judgment of error and excess, has exempted people from the argument of the universe and the argument of instinct and the argument of reason, unless messengers are sent to them, to save all these devices, from what may enter them. And let them adjust the scales of the divine right represented in the message, these devices, so that its rulings become clear when they are upright on approval, obedience, and followers, or they deserve punishment. (In the Shadows of the Qur’an, 8-806)
The Holy Qur’an proves the prophecy of David and Solomon, peace be upon them both, and God Almighty singled out our master David – peace be upon him – in the verses of Surat Al-Nisa with a special mention: {And We gave David the Psalms} for his stature – upon him be peace – and proving his prophethood by bringing him the wisdom explained by prophecy, in His Almighty saying: {And He gave him the Psalms God is the King and the Wisdom. And God Almighty mentioned the preference of our master David – upon him be peace – over some of the prophets in general: “And your Lord knows best who is in the heavens and the earth. [الإسراء: 55]; And the disapproval of “Zaboura” in the verse is an indication of its greatness, honor, and influence on souls. It was reported that David – peace be upon him – was when he sat reading the Zabura to preach and remind his verses, he wept and wept, and the jinn, humans, birds, animals and beasts gathered around him. (The Beginning and the End, 2/11).
