Al-Ahly is close to winning the Yellow League title by defeating Al-Shoula

The Al-Ahly Club team achieved victory over Al-Shula with a goal without a response, in the match that brought them together in the 32nd round of the Yellow League competitions for Saudi first-division clubs, to come close to winning the title in its favour.

Al-Ahly raised its score to 68 points, 3 points ahead of Al-Okhdood, its closest pursuer, while Al-Shoula’s balance froze at 17 points in last place, to confirm its relegation to the Saudi Second Division.

The only goal of the match was scored by the Algerian player, Riyad Boudebouz, in the 60th minute of the match, through a penalty kick, to the right of the torch goalkeeper, wonderfully.

Budbouz missed a second penalty kick in the 73rd minute of the match, after he hit the ball to the right of the torch guard, and the goalkeeper blocked it twice.

Al-Ahly needs to win the next match, with Al-Okhdood faltering, in order to win the Yellow League title for first-division clubs, for the first time in its history.
