The Manchester Open Squash Championship for men and women kicks off today, Wednesday, in Manchester, England.

The Manchester Open 2023 silver tournament will be held from May 17 to the 21st of the same month, with prize money amounting to $77,000 for men and the same amount for women.

The Manchester Open Squash Championship will see the participation of 15 Egyptian players, 8 men and 7 women.

And participating in the men’s competitions are: Ali Faraj, Tariq Moamen, Karim Abdel-Gawad, Youssef Suleiman, Omar Massad, Yahya Al-Nusani, Faris Al-Dasouki, and Ali Abu Al-Ainin.

While participating in the women’s competitions are: Nour Al-Tayeb, Rawan Al-Arabi, Farida Muhammad, Nada Abbas, Nadine Shaheen, Yathrib Adel, and Hana Moataz.

The star, Nour El-Sherbiny, the world number one and Sporting player, also won the World Squash Championship title for the seventh time in its history and the fifth in a row, after defeating her compatriot, Nouran Gohar, the world number two player and Wadi Degla player.
