The security services in Qalyubia arrested two of those accused of killing the owner of a sweets shop in the village of Qalama, Qalyub Police Station district, Qalyubia governorate, due to a quarrel over a piece of cake, while the security services intensified their efforts to arrest the rest of the accused, and the concerned authorities took over the investigation.
The security services in Qalyubia had received a notification from the Qalyub police that a quarrel had occurred and a person had been killed in the village of Qalama, the center district.
Immediately, the security services moved to the scene, and it was found that a person named “M.H”, the owner of a sweets shop, had died. A girl had bought sweets from him, and when she returned to retrieve them, he refused because of tampering with them. When the girl told her family, 4 people beat him with white weapons until they killed him. The body was transferred to the hospital at the disposal of the concerned authorities for the investigation.
