Ibrahim Al-Masry, player of the first men’s handball team at Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that the team is ready to face Zamalek this evening for the African Cup Winners’ Cup title in the match that brings the two teams together in the final of the tournament.
Al-Masry explained, in press statements, that the team is in a state of intense focus, and prepared for the match in high spirits, in light of the great motivations to win the championship.
And the Al-Ahly player continued: “There are no easy confrontations, and certainly the final match has different accounts, and the victory over Zamalek in the African Super Cup final match increases the difficulty of the match.”
Al-Masry added in his statements that the technical staff and players pledged to fight for the title, and won the continental double after the team qualified for the Super Globe Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly faces Zamalek in the African Cup Winners’ Cup final
The Al-Ahly club handball team will play with its Zamalek counterpart at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall at 7 pm in the tournament final.
The handball team, Al-Ahly’s men, was able to qualify for the final match, after beating its Moroccan counterpart, Raja Agadir, in the framework of the semi-final competitions, while Zamalek overcame Sporting’s hurdle to qualify for the final match.
