The statement called on the United States to review its decision and adopt a balanced policy towards the two parties on the disputed island between the Turkish and Greek Cypriots, stressing that Turkey, as a guarantor state, will continue to take the necessary steps within the framework of its historical and legal responsibility to preserve the presence of the Turkish Cypriots and ensure their security.
