Away from the political atmosphere and the intensification of competition between candidates in the Turkish general elections, today, Sunday, clips of Turkish voters while casting their votes caught the eye in polling stations, where some of them did funny things that were monitored by the cameras and enjoyed wide interaction.

In a funny snapshot, Farouk Sirin, a horse trainer, arrived at the polls to cast his vote in a center in the city of Izmir, dressed as a cowboy and riding a horse, which he later tied to a tree in the center’s yard, according to “TRT” channel.

Farouk said: “I came to the polling station today with my faithful horse to do what democracy requires (to vote). We are going through a tense period and I chose my horse instead of the car to get rid of this tension. It was an enjoyable trip and I received positive feedback from the citizens.”

Among the other funny scenes, some voters in the state of Aydın wore elegant, remarkable and sometimes strange clothes, as a citizen appeared in a polling station wearing the historical clothing of the Ottoman soldiers.

While another man arrived at the polling station dressed as Spider-Man or “Spider-Man”.

Also in the state of Aydin, a woman tried to perform her electoral duty while she was wrapped in a scarf bearing the image of Erdogan, but the officials asked her to abandon the image that she wrapped on her body. Because it prevents the introduction of political symbols to the committees.
